The institutional drift

There is something almost sociological about the choreography. The creator economy spent its adolescence convincing traditional media that it belonged in the room; it spent its twenties accumulating advertising dollars that made the convincing unnecessary; now it is building its own conference centers, its own lounges, its own production infrastructure.
